Who we are. This website is operated by Watchselector.com (“we”, “us”), of PO Box 6945, London, Greater London, W1A 6US, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at support@watchselector.com.

What this site does

WatchSelector is an independent guide to designer watches. We do not sell watches and we do not take payments. When you click a link to buy, you leave our site and go to the retailer, which handles your order and its own data under its own privacy policy.

Affiliate links and third parties

Our links to the retailer go through Awin, an affiliate network. When you click one, Awin and the retailer may set cookies or use similar technologies to record the referral. They act as independent controllers of that data, under their own policies. See our affiliate disclosure.

We use Google Fonts to display our typefaces. Loading them can send your IP address to Google. We may also use service providers such as our hosting company. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers, such as Google and Awin, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, normally no more than 12 months unless we need them longer for legal reasons. Cookie lifetimes are listed in our cookie policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: access your personal data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to our processing; and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email support@watchselector.com. We aim to respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
